Gullfaks - Heritage The Gullfaks field was the first wholly Norwegian-owned petroleum field and the first with Statoil, now Equinor, as operator. Gullfaks has been developed with three concrete platforms and several subsea installations. The platforms also receive oil and gas from surrounding fields.
